Good enough post :)

I LOVE a lot of what he’s doing.

But i don’t like the way the obamacare problem was addressed at all.

Bills don’t die on their own. The rules and taxes and penalties linger forever and I think Trump is wrong that the dems are going to be begging for a new bill in a year.

In the meantime, my wife’s post cancer treatments still cot us 5000 a year as compared to a few hundred a year not too long ago.

GREAT on the illegals, GREAT on that stupid transgender law, GREAT on increasing military spending, GREAT on wanting to ban some from entering the country, GREAT on slashing certain depts. GREAT on a lot of things.

But for today, at least, I am disappointed.

Maybe the others on the board were right. A less socialist bill would have been better than a pure socialist bill like obamacare.

Perhaps Trump know a very conservative bill wouldn’t pass and that is why he didn’t go that route.

What do i know? I still can’t figure out how to use my Echo Dot.

Nothing in this bill would have brought YOUR costs down for ANYTHING, this bill did NOTHING to help OUR costs!!! Phase 3 would never see the light of day and that is NOT acceptable!!! Trump will now take the reigns and find a way to get the bill bipartisan with republican factions!!

He’s only been president for two months. He learns quickly.

The TEA Party was very active in getting this healthcare bill shut down. I got two calls from them asking me to contact my rep.

The ultra fiscally conservatives really did not want this version of a healthcare bill to pass. I guess they figured it just didn’t get the government out of our personal lives enough. I’m guess they were correct. I don’t know why a full repeal with a phased shut down of the ACA could not be done. Then the pressure to build something market-centric could be made available with the gov out of our personal lives.

I have great deal of respect for that end of the Party so I believe they saw something in it that wasn’t acceptable. I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt. We have seen the establishment wing of the party far too aligned with the left when they shouldn’t be to the point they earned the nickname “Uni-Party”.

Anybody but Clinton. If one of the Republican candidates look stronger I missed it. In the final analysis Trump was the unorthodox strongman that could stop a Clinton presidency. It was a simple as that. The reasons are many why Clinton wouldn’t have been a good choice and they’re probably all covered in this comments section. For me it was ABC (Anybody But Clinton).

One other thing... after Decades of politicians running this country I felt very strongly that business person probably could do a better job of getting things done and undoing things done wrong.
