Right. Some have thought that Nunes was nervous in that press opportunity and has backed down, and perhaps that’s true, but another way to read his demeanor is that he was being very cautious to inform while at the same time to keep a lid on sensitive information. He said that a number of people have come forward with information, and he wants more people to feel free to do so. Most of the press questions were designed to produce breaking news favorable to the established narrative and Nunes seemed to steer clear for the most part.

The big take away is that Manafort has voluntarily come forward to be interviewed. Manafort and his lawyer are not dummies. They would not be making this offer if they did not think that they could effectively deflate some of the Russian baloney.

Agreed on Nunes.

Maybe Schiff can opine on his dealings and lobbying efforts with the Ukrainian arms dealer.

Nunez is working very closely with Trey Gowdy no doubt on planning strategy.

Schiff is playing with himself.
