Federal immigration officials could begin deporting Roberto Beristain, owner of the popular Eddie's Steak Shed in Granger, as early as Friday, according to his family.

But Beristain’s family is still hoping a federal immigration judge in New York will reopen the case, buying them some time. They’ve gathered more than 600 signatures of support, said his stepson, Phil Kolliopoulos.

I’m sure he voted in the last election, and 0bama said that that was what made one a citizen.

deport them all, they had the chance to self deport and apply to come back legally, but once it comes to ICE deporting them it is to late.

Got a friend or relative that is not in the country legally,

Illegals, muslims, and others here illegally or as phony refugees, move now while you can.

If you self deport you may be allowed back into the USA, but if you are deported you have no hope of ever coming back, NONE.

If what your hero barak hussien obama did causes a civil war, you are toast, you have no chance of surviving a US civil war, NONE.

Don’t be fooled by fake news, catholic charities, or lying liberal scum in political office.

Pack and move now.

Sorry, Juan (well, not really), you’ve already shown that you can’t follow our immigration laws.

How many hundreds of times did he use a forged or stolen Social Security number for the filings and processes he HAD to eventually go through? That FELONY is worth deporting for, if nothing else.

So he visited from Mexico in 1998 and decided to stay. He accidentally crossed the Canadian border near Niagra Falls in 2000 and received a voluntary deportation order from that, but once again decided to stay. Ever since, he has checked in once a year with ICE officials and kept a clean criminal record. ICE agents allowed him to gain a work permit, driver's license and a legal Social Security number.

My question is why wasn't he tossed back to Mexico in 2000 but instead has been allowed to stay for an extra 17 years?

“apply to come back legally”

No.

Were his employees paid under the table, avoiding taxes? Did he under report his revenue? I ask, because that’s what most immigrants do. They think it’s cool.

If you want the American dream, do it legally...just like we honest people have to.

No patience for lazy and dishonest moochers.

There is only one question that matters: Is he here legally? If not, deport him. The same for the 11 million (or more) other illegals who invaded our country. We should prioritize, and get rid of the violent ones first when that is convenient, but they all need to go.

That is a good point, if they self deport they may not be caught and can apply to immigrate in the future. If they stick around and get caught they will never be able to return again.

>>>Agents there discovered that he was in the U.S. illegally.<<<

So he voted for Trump when he should never have been allowed to vote at all?

Then he should be deported AFTER he serves a prison sentence.

Are some of us becoming liberal on illegal aliens?
