This selection does not tilt the court anymore than it was before to die on this hill is idiocy for the democrats. If they force McWeasal to pull the trigger on the nuclear option for this judge, the next SC vacancy will just require that 51st vote. This also puts pressure on McIsane and Linda his work wife’s ability to try and do a gang of 8 Byzantine like deal with a few democrats since they are being totally unreasonable for a pick that is the status quo.
My money says Mitch doesn’t have the balls to use the nuke option if push comes to shove. He has backed down too many times to placate the left.
