I'm afraid the only way this crap will stop is if we have a take over by Russia or China or the muzzies....
it'll take a totalitarian regime to right the ship and they'll do it very destructively, and I predict, people will be begging for it to happen....
thus we are back to slavery...
People look to Trump to "save" the Republic. He cannot. The Republic has expired slowly. The terminal point happened some time between 1988 and 2008. The fatal disease was contracted a century ago with the passage of the pathogens 16th, 17th, and 19th Amendments. Either of 17 and 19 could have been ultimately fatal alone but with 16 and the fact that all three maladies were contracted at the same time, the Republic's immune system proved insufficient.
It will take a Napoleon or a Pinochet to resurrect the Republic, or rather, to put in place a new Republic, but then Napoleons tends to turn out to be Napoleon. Pinochet is the exception. When the Pope said his work was done and it was time to retire, he did. He left a functioning Republic in Chile that even the election of leftist parties can't seem to erode.
