BBC is 'failing in its duty to be impartial over Brexit'

The BBC is failing in its duty to be impartial over Brexit, a group of parliamentarians has claimed. In a letter to senior BBC figures, they said the broadcaster had characterised Britain as xenophobic and focused too much on regretful leave voters.

The 76-strong group, made up mainly of Conservative MPs and including former cabinet ministers, warned the BBC’s director general, Tony Hall, and the incoming chair of its new governing body, David Clementi, that the broadcaster’s future might be in jeopardy if it was not seen as neutral.

Hasn’t this all morphed into a new illogical fear....the irrational creation of xenophobia and thus fear of fake/fraudulent xenophobic people?

One would first need to show that BBC “characterised Britain as xenophobic”. But at least reporters aren’t being shot dead in front of their door like Russia.

Of course their coverage has been biased crap. They spent all day yesterday focusing on “does Russia love Brexit?”

Funny how EU shills - be it lay people, media or even their government - are all about the Red Scare.

Interesting you are watching BBC all day then. Could such coverage possibly have something to do with this?:

The people of the UK and other sovereign nations have a perfect right not to be absorbed in the politically correct rules and regulations of the EUSSR.

They also have a definite right not to be swallowed up by mass ‘migration’ or ‘immigration’ or whatever we choose to call it.

A right that the UKSSR with their unelected leader is doing while her party stifles free speech.

Interesting, some people are a little bit tense so early.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

The BBC, like NPR and the CBC, are a media nursery for the cultivation of socialism, and at times the cultivation of liberal fascism.

They have the UN-endearing characteristic of smug intelligentsia, who pretend that they can be brokers of the inalienable rights of free peoples, who can turn off the eye of truth whenever they deem it threatening to their burgeoning smug, political correctness.

In fact they are nothing but harbingers of totalitarianism.
Their refuge is jingoistic propaganda.Aldous Huxley and George Orwell both predicted their media role in the infantilzation of human society.

All public funding in the UK, Canada and the USA for them should be cut off . There is nothing at all redeeming about any of them.

I exercise the ‘off’ button whenever I encounter any of them, the BBC, The CBC, or NPR. I pray that they tank so that we can be free once more.

It was Peter Hitchens Sunday column that noted the UK as the headline put is ‘one step short’ of being ‘a banana republic’ but Hitchens was suggesting the Tories broke election rules to get elected in 2015 setting up the Brexit vote former PM Cameron didn’t want.

He is also talking about broken campaign promises and lies on a host of domestic issues, not the Brexit issue pe se.

I lived it.

At one time the BBC was the glue that held the British Empire and the British Commonwealth together. Then the control of their broadcasting fell from the hands of post WWII management, people who had fought the Nazis, into the hands of socialists who wanted to bring a lock step infantilization to those whom they had considered their children, based no the very colonial paternalistic smugness which was the marker of the former BBC. Now without the colonies, a bunch of patronizing socialists who were perfectly comfortable at drawing the curtain if ignorance over genuine freedom earned by the sacrifice of the WWII generation, a sacrifice frittered away rather than engaging and protecting the fundamental freedoms of the British people. They gave birth to public radio in Canada , Australia and the USA and transferred their propaganda to other free societies.I find it invasive.

The possession of firearms is now so restricted thanks to their horrid international campaign that there are sections of Britain where people can only defend themselves from forceful entry by “empowered minorities”into their homes with only pikes and swords. The same has happened in Australia and in Canada to a lesser degree.

I hate the ba$tards.I grew up in a free society which was snatched away when people failed to fight them. They need fighting now.

Theresa May is not an unelected leader. The Conservative Party won the General Election, and Theresa May was elected as leader of the Conservative Party. A party, incidentally, which is currently 19 points ahead in the polls.

You know how the system works. Stop sounding like Nicola Sturgeon.

LoL! May was selected by Party Elites.

A woman who campaigned against Brexit by the way. Welcome to the full absurdity of their Elitist system of governance.

A diseased dog would be 20 points ahead of Jeremy Corbyn.

Jeremy Corbyn was the greatest gift in fifty years to the Tory leadership. At least a third of all labor members won’t participate or engage in any party politics with the guy in charge. You could line up some nut-case drunk for the Tories, who could still beat Corbyn by five points.
