Glad you saw it, because I think they really twist people.

Some people are critical thinkers in that they ask questions and reason things. You don’t have to tell a person like this everything. They’ll run stuff by you to see what you think, and probably others too. They pretty much know intuitively what truth is, aren’t totally immune to being wrong, but won’t be bullied. If someone else makes sense, they’ll listen and apply as necessary.

Then you get the wide eyed person that goes on cruise control through life, letting other tell them what to think. These folks are dangerous, susceptible to being ruined by people who will manipulate them, and capable of just about anything if led right.

Funny thing is, these folks think we’re the ones being led around. They try to peddle that to anyone they can, and it’s their own group that buys into it.

I think the leaders of the Left aren’t in this class. They know better but do it for ideology. They have no morals and will use the clueless up if given a chance.

Good luck waking the clueless up. They’ve been told anyone who says different, is just a propagandist. They won’t even listen.

I have a person that is a union member. They are sold on everything the union says. Yes, seriously.

I once mentioned to this person that the Democrats had been in control of our state legislature for the last 50 years. After tell them that, I asked if they were happy with the way things were going. They said no.

I asked, which party do you think is to blame. They told me it was the Republicans.

You know, Leftists don’t even see it. Logic is just turned off.

They abound, I know. Exactly as you say. They chose popularity over personal growth and, due to the intentional & ideological language shifts, critical thinking means “criticize anyone who disagrees”. “Personal growth” means the cult or fad du jour.

The dominant left takes advantage of human herd instinct. Clever and insidious. By now, though, even most of the managerial level *leaders* are simply pawns. Could account for the shift that elected Trump...regression to the mean, and all that. Above that, the real controllers are cynical enough to have seen the need to take over a sufficient portion of the leadership of what used to be bastions of traditionalism. Best examples are the Catholic Church, Protestant clergy, Reform Jewry and the GOPe.

I see no effective means to change them.
