Either that or as a homely person they eat it up, when the Left shows an interest in them. I don’t intimate we do or should reject them, but I think the Left reads them like a rapist or a con-man reads a vulnerable person. There’s a sixth sense to it.

You’re right. It has little to do w/looks and a lot to do with being incapable of logic.

As students, my husband and I were each *scouted* and in two different venues separated by 8 years,we were both dismissed. Better to say, we rejected them, even though we considered ourselves *liberal* until Reagan. But they could tell we weren’t going to be led, even before we knew it for sure ourselves.

There’s a lot of truth in that, I think.

Back in the sixties, few attractive mainstream winners dropped out and joined the freaks. Of course there were some.
