I don’t know that she is fake or stupid, but I give little weight to her opinions given her youth. With that said, she is just as qualified as anyone else to have an opinion, and if people want to pay her for the opinion so be it. She likely would not have as much work if she was not as cute as a button, but she has far more depth to her opinions than Meghan McCain who is incredibly marketed as a conservative when she is demonstrably not.
With that said, I read her remarks regarding the stance and it is the usual conundrum I see in many college aged “conservatives.” Libertarianism is a cool choice for young people on many college campuses - it allows for conservative views based on a more palatable idea of personal freedoms. The college libertarian often demands choice for women on abortion, because it is acceptable. However, like many things with libertarian thought, it fits on a piece of paper far better than it does in the real world.
As she gets older and wiser, she will probably make the turn that many youngsters do towards understanding that abortion is far more about the moral rights of the unborn child vs. “convenience” or freedom of the mother.
With that said - while your comments are pretty harsh, I think we both agree that she would not be a pundit if she was not so cute just as McCain would not have her job on Fox and a radio show if she had a different last name.
That's not the worst of what she did. If she had been CONSISTENT I would agree with you. But during the pussy hat parade in January, she said abortion was MURDER. Now when she goes on The View she claims she's pro-choice and that pro-life conservatives are "hypocrities" and false Christians? WTF? Clearly she is a liar angling for a big payoff on a liberal network. she is dead to me forever. As far as Meghan McCain, I agree, she makes Toni Lahren look like Steven Hawking.
