Our sources say the thief -- whom they say is a man -- was caught on surveillance video pulling up to the agent's driveway in an Uber at around 3 AM Thursday.
The video shows the man make a beeline for the agent's car, removing a backpack with the computer inside and then walking off. As we reported, the hard drive contained Trump Tower floor plans and evacuation protocols, but the agency insists there was no classified info inside.

Did my ad block plus block the video link?
Is there a link?
Thanks for the heads up - didn’t see it pop up when I did a quick search!

Video?
Did the suspect force entry into the vehicle?
Nothing so far re:if he had to breaak-in. If not, the odds that it was a arranged handoff would seem to go up.
Who leaves a laptop in their car?
I’m a Fed and we are constantly warned about this.
This is very fishy...
Search ONE word in the title section..not whole title. In this case the word “ Theft” would have pulled it up.
That is how I search.
It would go up significantly. And would begs the question, why would an SS Agent leave their car readily accessible to anyone and then leave the vehicle unlocked, filled with backpacks and laptops with sensitive data?
If that’s the case here, no sale.
Conspiracy theorist alert.
If it looks like a duck etc Intell Assessment declares it a swan....
Yeah, we are that stupid.

I tried “secret service”. I’m usually pretty good at finding existing posts, but missed this time. Ah well, there’s always people logging in at diff times so I suppose if they missed the first one they can catch it now.
interesting!
remember the same M.O. when huma left a lap top in her car w/ sensitive info.
she had to call an associated and ask them to go retrieve it out of her car.

I ‘m not a Fed, nor do I have anything sensitive (in the common world) on my portable devices, but I sure wouldn’t leave one in a car.
“””We’re told the video is grainy so it’s hard to make out the thief’s features, but it’s definitely a lead.”””
The video is so bad they won’t release it? They generally release video of everything else. And this happened 5 days ago?
They need to release the video.

Including at least one passport, to boot. Again, I’d think since he took an Uber they shoulda had the guy within an hour of knowing the theft had occurred.
Don’t worry about it. I missed the first one so this is helpful to me. Thanks.
I have read from multiple sources that the agent’s vehicle wasn’t a car, but a motorcycle. I guess there could’ve been some locked compartment, but this still seems like a handoff to me.
