While I am eating, the car might go pick a ride share customer up nearby, drop the customer off, and return to where I’m eating.

And then you sit down in the puddle of barf left by the passenger who paid $5 to get home from the bar.

Uber charges the passenger a cleaning fee when this happens. I have heard of it happening too. I’ve heard of cases where the passenger was charged more than $100 for this.

Of course, I agree with you. That’s not something that you ever want to happen in your vehicle. How could they really compensate fairly for such a thing?

With your point in mind, I’m pretty sure cameras would be essential for driverless service. Wouldn’t be a bad idea for current drivers either.
