Fine. President Trump could just completely divest all federal spending in Berkeley. All fed employees currently assigned there could be transferred elsewhere. No conferences or meetings could be held there. And no spending on anything within their city limits could be paid for with fed funds. Simple.
It’s about time citizens start demanding these Progressive politicians, school boards, principals, and teachers be fired and start putting in people that still think the Constitution is the supreme law of this Republic.
I wonder, if ‘Operation Bojinka’ had succeeded would Berkeley be any different today?

It’s just a certain section of the school that’s crazy. My youngest son is there working on his masters In EE. He won a prize from Any Rand institute when he was a high school senior.
No doubt Berkeley’s idea of morality would have them instead invest in businesses that harvest baby organs for sale, as Planned Parenthood.

These people, universities, cities and states who want to divest themselves from companies investing in the safety and security of the US border, sound like foreign countries issuing edicts and policy, instead of American entities.

The GOP doesn't need to "turn" them into monsters. The rabid ones already are monsters - or at least crazy.
As you say, it is the duty of the Republicans (and others) to expose them for who they really are. But that takes some guts on the part of GOP politicians - a commodity not in ample supply nowadays (except for Trump).

If you sell shares in a stock it does nothing to hurt the company, especially a giant company likely to work on the wall. Even if Berkeley sells 20,000 shares....meaningless.
