I've come to the conclusion that Juan Williams is simply playing the role of the Washington Generals among the Harlem Globetrotters on Fox.

It's really hard for me to have any adverse reaction to him even when he says stupid and inane things. Clarence Thomas, in his book My Grandfather's Son, credits Williams for being the only reporter in D.C. who gave him a fair shake during his nomination and confirmation process back in the early 1990s.
