A top FBI official who came under scrutiny last year over his wife’s campaign contributions from a Hillary Clinton ally did not list those 2015 donations or his wife’s salary in financial disclosure forms, according to records reviewed by Fox News.
The records, obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request, show FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe left the box blank for wife Dr. Jill McCabe's salary, as a doctor with Commonwealth Emergency Physicians. And there is no documentation of the hundreds of thousands of campaign funds she received in her unsuccessful 2015 Virginia state Senate race.

After this story was first published, an FBI spokseman provided an on-the-record statement to Fox News defending how McCabe's disclosure forms were handled:
"The rules instructing filers how to complete the OGE 278e form are published by the independent Office of Government Ethics (OGE) in a document titled 'The Public Financial Disclosure Form (July 2016).' The form does not require that an employee spouse's salary be disclosed; only the employer name and type of income required. Nor does the form require or contain a line for campaign contributions, which are not considered income. Rules governing campaign donations are overseen by the Federal Election Commission.
Each form submitted by an FBI employee to the OGE is certified by FBI's chief ethics officer, who heads the Office of Integrity and Compliance. Mr. McCabe consulted with this office upon his wife's decision to run for political office."

How many of the Trump haters in positions of power are living in fear that their power and financial abilities could go down the drain when/while Trump is draining the DC swamp.
Some good people at the FBI and IRS will get info to Catherine Herridge and Pamela K. Browne, if this clown doesn’t resign.
So will he resign and try to blame Trump for whatever problems he can dream up to cover his perxonal issues?
He isn’t going to resign, of course, because he is doing exactly what his pals want him to be doing (and are paying for). But now with an honest AG like Sessions in charge, he doesn’t have to quit or be charged with something, all that needs to happen is Sessions reassigns him. As long as he’s aware of the situation he can change McCabe’s work duties without having to prove anything, and then the investigation will go forth disclosing McCabes role and complicity. THEN the charges will come.
I’m watching for some indication that McCabe has been re-assigned, that’ll be a signal that Sessions is onto him.

Top Clinton Bundlers Were Major Donors to Wife of FBI’s Andrew McCabe
Terry McAuliffe not only Clinton-linked donor to give to Jill McCabe.
The Wall Street Journal first reported on donations from Common Good VA, McAuliffe’s political action committee, to McCabe’s Virginia state senate campaign in 2015. McCabe is the wife of Andrew McCabe, the FBI deputy director who helped in the investigation into Clinton’s email practices.
McAuliffe contributed $467,500 to McCabe’s campaign through his PAC, making her the third-largest recipient of contributions from McAuliffe in 2015. The Virginia Democratic Party provided an additional $207,788 to McCabe in the form of mailers, the Wall Street Journal noted.
However, McAuliffe was not the only Clinton backer to contribute to McCabe’s campaign. Four top bundlers for Clinton-related efforts combined to give McCabe more than $130,000.
Fredrick D. Schaufeld, an investment banker and venture capitalist, sits on Hillary Clinton’s National Finance Committee along with his wife, Karen. Individuals who raise or contribute at least $100,000 for Hillary for America, the Hillary Victory Fund, the Hillary Action Fund, or a combination of those three entities earn a spot on the committee.
Schaufeld contributed $65,332 to McCabe’s campaign, public records shows. A total of $55,000 went to McCabe between June and late October 2015—the same time that Common Good VA flooded McCabe’s campaign with nearly a half million in contributions.
Schaufeld was the fourth largest donor to McCabe’s campaign behind only McAuliffe’s PAC, the Democratic Party of Virginia, and Planned Parenthood’s Virginia affiliate. McCabe was the top recipient of campaign cash from Schaufeld last year.
Karen Schaufeld, Fredrick’s wife, contributed $10,849 to McCabe in October.
Sonjia Smith, who sits on Hillary Clinton’s National Finance Committee alongside her husband Michael Bills, donated $45,000 to McCabe’s campaign. Smith was the fifth largest donor to McCabe, right behind Fredrick Shaufeld.
Smith’s husband, Bills, donated $15,000 to McCabe in August 2015.
In all, McCabe raised $1.6 million for her unsuccessful Virginia state senate race.
