The portraits, in addition to ones of Vice President Mike Pence and various cabinet officials, will replace those of their predecessors, as dictated by tradition. But to some in the politically polarized bureaucracy, the prospect of President Trump’s likeness watching over them is already causing problems. Rep. Brian Mast, R-Fla., on Tuesday helped hang unofficial portraits of the new administration in a VA medical center in his West Palm Beach district, only to see them promptly taken down.
“I insisted that I would like to see them hung,” Mast told Fox News in an email. “The information desk called for a maintenance person who was seen helping me hang it.”

I have repeatedly posted that the Federal Agencies ARE the problem. The LEADERSHIP of those agencies are the problem. Some folks have no idea. Maybe now, they will begin to see the truth. I tried.
That should be a no-brainer.
Top of the food chain — Who is the Big Fish in charge? It is that person’s PERSONAL responsibility to make sure the portraits are hanging as directed, and it is a fireable offense to be derelict.
Tough to lose a long Civil Service career over such a minor thing, huh? So just do it.
And if firing is difficult, let them know that there is a branch office in Antarctica that needs staffing.
These petty dictators don’t get a vote in the issue. The current president’s picture is displayed...period. And yes, he is your President. To quote his predecessor, “I won, get over it”.

I’ve got an idea. Stop wasting money on portraits of presidents that rotate every 4 to 8 year. What is the cost of the pictures, times how many government offices?
How about we put up a picture of an ordinary American Joe or Jane with a big sign underneath that says “This is who you work for. Stop wasting our money!”

Exactly. This is a great way to determine which departments and offices to zero out in the next budget. Trump’s picture isn’t on the wall — eliminate the office.
No pictures are up at the Houston VA. Are the lefties actually going to win this? I didn’t like looking at Obama but I lived with it.

And as you may notice, McCain the war hero says nothing about the CIC being disrespected.

Hey! This is a cheap, efficient way to rid the Federal Bloateaucracy of the Obama & Klintoon dead wood! Hang these in large numbers & large sizes across from security cams in EVERY fed office, and then just fire the butts of the vandals.
If only it could be that easy. They probably can't be fired. Therein lies the problem.
