I just don't understand how Republicans don't stick by each other when the going gets rough. The Access Hollywood tape was shocking but it was just words from a man that we already knew had a big ego and loved to brag about himself. Most of us men have "Howard Stern" moments when we think we are among friends and nobody else is listening. The only difference is the rest of us don't end up running for president.

Bill Clinton actually did the deeds that Trump only talked about and yet the entire Democratic Party circled the wagons around him and stood by him. We could have used a little of that back in October. But the Republican establishment decided to "go wobbly."

I think Dobbs is being a little harsh here.

You're looking at Republicans and Democrats as if we all have the same standards, but we don't. The big difference between Republican and Democrat voters is that Republicans have principles that will guide the way they vote -- or even not vote at all. Most Democrats have no such principles -- which is why you had radical feminists among Bill Clinton's strongest supporters, and why the Democrats could run a KKK leader and he would still get north of 85% of the black vote.

When Paul Ryan made the comments that were the subject of Dobbs' rant, he was in a position where he had two primary responsibilities: (1) win his own race, and (2) protect the GOP majority in the House. If he perceived that a loose cannon like Trump at the top of the ticket was a threat to Item (2), then he was completely justified in distancing himself from Trump.

It's also kind of ridiculous for anyone to expect Ryan to maintain any loyalty to Trump back in October 2016. Trump did, after all, go out of his way to promote the guy who had challenged Ryan unsuccessfully in the Republican primary in that House district.

The tape wasn’t even shocking.

I’m really trying to think of how many men there are out there who have never grabbed a woman by the pussy before, and how many women there are out there that haven’t grabbed a man by the weiner before.

I mean seriously, people do these things, and then sometimes they talk about doing those things with other people.

The absolute horror of it all. ZOMG!

Because half of them aren't actually Republicans (RINOs)

So many Dim women swear he actually grabbed women who didn’t want his advances, IOWs, assault.

I had a friend who was hesitating to vote for him because of those comments and I asked, can you guarantee your husband has never said anything like that?

Paul Ryan invited President Trump to his little gathering with the specific intent to disinvite him once the audio of the conversation was released. It was a coordinated effort with Paul Ryan and the Republican Establishment playing their part to create a scandal to hurt then candidate Trump.

Mr. Dobbs is correct and to be blunt Paul Ryan is a sanctimonious punk who well deserves to get the smirk smacked off his face. I absolutely cannot stand the conniving fraud.
