Their faithful are convinced that just one more attempt or trillion will do the trick if they close their eyes and tap their Nike’s together but for their leadership the programs have been successful beyond their wildest dreams. They’ve managed to create vast swaths of dependent voting classes and profound wealth transfer schemes that perpetually keep them in power while managing to keep the productive class at bay through a combination of guilt and fear.
The true root of this evil lies in the enabling of the federal reserve system, the progressive income tax and direct election of senators courtesy of Woodrow Wilson and his era. It should be lesson #1 that a government should never be allowed to make these types of profound changes without 2/3 or 3/4 majority sunset clauses.
Use the money to pay salries for work that needs to be done.
