I don’t support everything in the bill (REFUNDABLE tax credits and subsidies in any form). Surely they have to be flexible on Refundable tax credits. Subsidies for the poorest is going to be in the bill and it will have Trump’s full support so trying to gut that is going to be a non starter. That being said, He is trying to get consensus. Rand is just being philosophical. He won’t get 60 votes for a full repeal which leaves with status quo. How does THAT help?

Politically, I’m not sure it’s more advantageous to take nothing if we can’t get rid of everything. Voters may hold Democrats accountable for blocking its repeal. They may hold us responsible for failing to get rid of it. I’m not really sure how this plays out.
More importantly, though - if we do let the Obamacare collapse the healthcare system rather than chip away at it, if the industry goes bankrupt, will it be salvageable later with a full repeal if cull enough leftists from Congress over the next couple of cycles? There’s that to consider too.
Hate to put much stock in this poll but it has indeed been a rough couple of weeks since President Trump’s magnificent and glorious Joint Session Of Congress Address.
I know he was hoping to revel in the glow of that marvelous speech, only to be quickly derailed by the Jeff Sessions’ ultimate recusal.
Then, along came the uproar over his tweets on a Saturday morning alleging wiretapping at Trump Tower as ordered by Obama.
Moreover, it really is a exasperating how the health care maelstrom is so all-consuming, managing to forestall tax cuts, infrastructure (including building the wall) and dealing with myriad foreign crises. I pray that TPTB can soon collaborate successfully to reach a reasonable new health care/insurance system.
It truly breaks my heart to watch my President endure so many slings and arrows. He deserves profound respect, admiration and praise for all he has already accomplished and for his honest effort to do his utmost to make life better for all of us!!!
We all must remember that President Donald Trump embodies our last chance to exert our nation’s sovereignty, restore traditional Judeo-Christian values and in all ways MAGA!!!

Finally, his selflessness is breathtaking, especially when one considers that he could very easily be settling into retirement, savoring the fruits of his lifetime of labors and devoting precious time to his own beautiful family.

Trump may have a plan to get rid of Ryan the RINO, who knows, but Trump. I sure hope there’s a plan to get Turtle Face out as well. Two back-stabbing losers, in my opinion. Trump needs two gutter fighters; one to head up the Senate and one to head up the House. Find a Mad Dog for each position. Find two strong-willed patriots willing to fight and beat the RATs 24/7.
