The American Civil Liberties Union staged a nationwide training event Saturday to make sure people are aware of their rights as protesters and urge organized, public resistance by those opposed to policies of President Donald Trump.
Organizers said the event at a sports arena on the University of Miami campus was livestreamed to locations in all 50 states. ACLU Executive Director Anthony Romero said 200,000 people had signed up to attend one of an estimated 2,000 local events.

I recall the line from the character in the film ‘Dazed & Confused’:
‘I wanna join the ACLU so I can help people being ****ed over by the government.’
Now it would have to be changed to:
‘I wanna join the ACLU so I can help the government **** people over.’
Because burning things, smashing windows and beating people up isn’t working.
Does this not fit “the incitement to riot” definition?
Is the University a state school? If they are I would defund them immediately and sue to remove the entire executive board from every one of the 2000 schools that participated.
One would think so. Knowing the aclu, they’re probably pretty adept at skirting the outside edges of the law and staying in bounds by a hair.
Well that’s just crazy. Universities and colleges are where people go to exchange ideas and listen to opposing———————— Oh. Never mind.
Are they also training them how to obey the law while protesting?
I didnt think so
Congress needs to change the laws to ensure that the ACLU doesn’t get taxpayer money.
Isn’t that treason/sedition??
Aren’t these folks lucky they live in the USA and not, say, China or North Korea?
Why would anyone care how to do it? They’re paying them and that’s all that matters.
