In March 1993, Janet Reno began her tenure as President Bill Clinton’s attorney general by summarily firing United States attorneys for 93 of the 94 federal districts (one, Michael Chertoff, was retained in New Jersey, at the request of Democratic Senator Bill Bradley). That is more than twice as many as Trump attorney general Jeff Sessions fired on Friday.

Doesn't matter if Clinton fired 1000, a Republican firing 1 is a scandal....................

I’ve only been seeing articles lately on how this is not a scandal.

Is it still considered a scandal by the enemedia? Or, is all the talk about it on our side about it not being one.

AG Sessions (that still sounds magical!) is just the opposite of being rash in his approach. First of all Dems and 'pubs who want the Trump administration to fail slow-walked his confirmation/character assassination. He wasn't vindictive when he was sworn in. Instead, it seems that he took a few weeks to assess the situation he inherited. I get the feeling he's seen enough to draw a responsible decision. That decision was "you're fired" to the Obama loyalists.

JMHO

I like how when obama fired attorneys, Politico used the word "replaced" but when Trump did the same, they used the word "oust." Bias the news by using different terms.

Once Clinton set that precedent ...

Clinton didn't set the precedent. Ronald Reagan replaced nearly every sitting U.S. Attorney. Carter may have too. at any rate, my point is that "Clinton started it" is false.

Be careful with Andrew Mccarthy's work. I personally don't trust his articles, although by and large his jist is okay.

“That’s racist.” said Maxine Waters.

“And Islamophobic.” Keith Ellison added.

Believe it or not, the NY Times actually covered the story in a professional manner that day.
