I hate long red lights. If I accidentally run one would that be a hate moving violation? Would the fine be doubled?

‘ps: The Byrds did a nice rendition...’

One of my all-time favorites! Practically forgotten these days, but I loved it as a young child, and it haunts me.

another attack on free speech

look at the supporting groups

similar to the groups perpetrating the violence in the first place

SOROS and the like should be brought to JUSTICE

If some goon kills someone for the cash in his wallet, I think that’s just as evil as someone killing out of hate.

Execute them both.

As for hate SPEECH? It’s selective outrage and un-American to violate free speech regardless.

Is Congress required to obey this law? Yeah, I know the answer; just had to ask.

Soros funds terrorism and destabilizes governments. He funds much of the refugee migration into Europe — he is evil and has publicly declared war against the US.

Ruh-roh — he’s also a Jew. Sure Soror collaborated with the SS to raid other Jews’ possessions during the holocaust and said those were the best years of his life, but he is still a Jew.

I guess we’re guilty of ‘hate speech’. Can’t criticize a creep if he won the ‘minority raffle’.

I want to see a bill banning the phrase; “Haters gonna hate”.

One of the most overused, nonsensical and lexiconically criminal abominations of the English language.

Since he seems he can legislate away things such as hate, I propose a “no stupidity” bill.

1. Actual assault (or murder, rape, ect.) is a crime, no matter the motive. It does not require an additional phony “hate crime” to prosecute someone for assault.

2. Someone assaulted for one motive is not more of a victim than someone assaulted for another motive, and they are not deserving of greater justice. Assault is assault, period.

3. Someone who assaults someone out of one motive is not more guilty than someone who assaults someone out of a different motive. Both deserve to be prosecuted FOR ASSAULT.

4. If any action in a confrontation between persons cannot be considered a crime, no matter what the motive, then the motive alone (such as “hate”) cannot be made into a “crime” without such a “crime” generating a slippery slope of other forms of prosecuting (or otherwise penalizing) people merely for their thoughts - and that’s all any motive is - a collection of thoughts. But, the “thought crime” is in fact the philosophical Marxist agenda behind all “hate crimes”. If so-called “hate crimes” are universally accepted, “thought crimes” are not far behind, and we can see all over academia that such “solutions” to “offenses” are being sought more and more.

“Fastest way to get the dems to NOT vote for it is have conservative groups added to it during amendment process...They will run away from voting for it on their own.”

Yup. Add to it the NRA and the bill will be DOA.

Not just hate, but hatey-hate, is that like the left’s rapey-rape?

It’s not hate if it’s against whites, or especially white males. It’s only hate when it’s any other group, unless it’s one “privileged” group against another, such as having as the leader of their women’s march, a Muslim woman who supports sharia law, ie, executing rape victims, throwing sodomites off tall buildings, etc. Then the left has to refer to its victim hierarchy list. Right now it seems to suit their purpose to make common cause with Islam. I hope they’ll (leftists) be the first to feel that jackboot grinding into their faces, so that the rest of us have time to shoot the dirty goat humpers.

“Funny”, no one ever thought of this when the left made a movie about the decapitation of George W when he was President.

If you think about it, the left has already made thought a crime, in academia, where anyone expressing support of conservative ideas in papers and essays can be flunked, not for errors of grammer, spelling, etc, but for having the “wrong” ideas. People can lose their jobs for expressing, on their own time in their private lives, opposition to sodomite marriage or homosexuality, period, even if they base their opposition on the Bible.

Wasn’t there a CEO who was forced to leave his own company when it was discovered (thanks to leftists and militant sodomites digging through the records) that he’d made donations to CA Prop 8? He’d committed a “thought crime” by supporting the “wrong” side, even though he did it privately.

The article is worthless... it doesn't give the slightest clue as to what the Rat's bill would do.

From another article ("Blumenthal calls for tougher hate crime laws":

"Blumenthal said the legislation he plans to sponsor during the next session would, among other things... allow those who report hate crimes to remain anonymous."

So much for a Constitution republic that allowed the accused to confront or challenge his/her accuser! The Rat is making sure there is no defense for the PC accused.
