Sorry, but no to cutting Medicare. People have worked hard & paid into this their whole lives. This is their money.

The very idea of cradle to grave care is a misnomer. The subject has always been health insurance but nobody calls it that!

My question is why not?

While I have little confidence that this staff generated RyanCARE beast will make it anywhere, much less to the president’s desk, I have even worse confidence in anyone’s ability to predict the end of President Trump. I don’t think this would destroy his administration, nor any legacy of accomplishments.

I’ve seen a mighty lot of predictions of what might end his political career.

I have this feeling Mr President is going to let Ryan go down with this health care bill.

I would feel the same way...except...why the public show of the President's support for this three-headed RINO-care dragon? Is it a feint...or...is Trump sincere in this support?

Jim Jordan and Mark Meadows and Louis Gohmert all refused to challenge Ryan for the Speaker’s gavel.

They wouldn’t even try.

Why?

President Trump:

Would you seriously flush the support of those who trusted you and voted for you down the toilet for the likes of Paul Ryan? We stood by you; RINOS like Ryan tried to destroy you!

President Trump...this is a no-brainer!

Before nobamacare we had Medicade for those who could not afford insurance. It worked quite well. It is still working today. It’s just not talked about. Illegal babies are born and taken care of under medicade, as is their mother. People who cannot afford insurance still use medicade, even for dental and eye care.

Paul Ryan did not like Donald J. Trump during the campaign and let everyone know it. When Pres. Trump was inaugurated Paul Ryan changed his tune “a bit”, just enough to get his- self elected as Speaker of the House. Now that he;s won this position, he can show his true thoughts and feeling. He doesn’t give a whip for anything but his wife’s democrat directions and his “place” as Speaker in the House where
he can preen before tv and sugar coat what he and a few
of the “George soros bought” republicans are doing to the nobamacare bill. It’s nobamacare Lite.

Isn’t Obamacare failing on its own? If so, why chase it with repeal?

A few things:

1. People paid a working lifetime of payroll taxes into Medicare.
2. Obama stole $500 million from Medicare and put it into his unconstitutional ACA.
3. It seems it would be just to take that Medicare transfer and transfer it back. And it shouldn’t be difficult as Medicare was never repealed.

Now it seems fairly simple to get the 60 votes to repeal Obamacare. Oh yes, it is easy, don’t think it’s not.

It’s just going to take to committing to play hardball against democrats (and republicans) which the stupid GOP never does because many of them are in on it. They only play hardball with conservatives. Just remember Mississippi.

The President wrote ‘The Art of the Deal’. He can get the leverage to make the dems play ball. Here’s how:

Obama and his criminal ring stole criminally and massively from GSO’s in the mortgage market to prop up the ACA.

Here’s a report from less than a month ago:
http://blogs.barrons.com/focusonfunds/2017/02/22/fannie-and-freddie-took-a-big-fall-will-bruce-berkowitz-fairholme-come-tumbling-after

AG Sessions can direct DOJ resources into investigating the events discovered in these lawsuits as part of a probe into a criminal conspiracy. It shouldn’t take that much time to find a lower level group of conspiracists to obtain plea deals on in return for turning evidence on higher ups. Some of those higher ups can be expected to lead into the DNC leadership.

Once Sessions has the DNC leadership by the balls, the 60 votes needed to repeal Obamacare should be a cakewalk.

My hhusband went from having great insurance to none when he lost his job. Two years later no insurance, but we pay the ridiculous $695.00 penalty at tax time. If I understood correctly they disbanded that this year. We still have to take them to our tax guy.

This magical Obama care is nowhere to be found. We found a minimum of $300.00 plus a month, but the deductible was so ridiculously high it was a joke.

If we ever decide to become slackers we could get all the freebies available. Beyond messed up.

Amen Jim, great post and I hope he reads it.
President Trump has one base of support. The people who elected him.
Both parties establishment hate him and want him to fail.

They want Fedzilla to be at the center of everyone’s healthcare and to have access to all their healthcare records.
They want to keep the borders open and the laws unenforced.

Those two things are why President Trump got elected.
He must try to repeal Obamacare. Better to let it fail as Obamacare then fail as Trumpcare.
He MUST build the wall/fence/barrier and deport illegal aliens. DACA must be ended. No new applications taken and previous recipients notified that they will not be renewed.
Gives them time to make plans.
