Vanity: That Night 4chan 'Hacked John Podesta
VANITY / Various Sources

Posted on 03/11/2017 8:20:23 AM PST by TigerClaws

I happened to be visiting 4chan a few weeks out from the election. John Podesta's emails were slowly being leaked on Wikileaks. One dated 5-16-2015 had him sending someone named Eryn his Apple ID and password.

4channers realized he had not changed the password post hack. They quickly got into both his Twitter and Apple accounts. I specifically remember someone posted screen shot from the iPad contents.

Shows it didn't take a crack team of Russian cyber expert to 'hack' anyone.

How could he not know to change his password post hack?

Link to stories about the event:

He also lost his Blackberry twice. If his practice was not to change passwords, that created another easy 'hack' opportunity.

So all the pizzagate emails were planted on Podesta’s computer by pedes...is that where this is going?

I hate Podesta the Molesta so much. I doubt that’s even his real name, just like his butt buddy James “Jaime L’enfant” Alefantis. Cheese pizza fans can’t possibly have been born with cheese pizza rhyming names.

And animals who eat carrion are legit uglier than other animals. Which explains Pedosta’s looks.

Wasn't his password, "password" or something equally stupid?

There’s a Russian Conspiracy Theory being spun by the MSM and Dems — Russians, in bed (literally) with Trump, hacked the Democrats and stole the election from Hillary, undermining our entire system of representative democracy.

In fact, Dems are the gang that can’t shoot straight and the ‘hack’ was more akin to you leaving your door wide open and complaining about getting robbed.

He hadn’t changed that password post hack — and post Wikileaks — and the same password was used for his Twitter account.

I remember. Here’s the real time FR post on it:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3479794/posts?q=1&;page=51

And here’s what it looked like when ppl chimed in over there (many of them veterans of the GamerGate thing) were trying to save what they found to a source they could trust...Wikileaks. This was how it looked in real time. Excuse the language, sounds like a bunch of young college kids. Just keep scrolling down.

I saved it for the times I will be confronted on the Russian hack nonsense.

They don’t sound very Russian to me.

Did look like college kids and it’s 4chan so LANGUAGE ALERT.

Not sure they were aware that was a criminal act doing what they did, but I guess they’re sophisticated enough to hide cyber fingerprints. All above my head.

I haven’t heard it talked about beyond that night though. Rush has mentioned Podesta fell for the ‘phishing’ trick, but not this.

The “intelligence community” and the media were supposedly incapable of figuring this out and concluded that only the Russian government colluding with Trump could have possibly accessed the Podesta emails.

The Dems are having CrowdStrike (the Google-owned / Hillary-supporting computer experts) to show up and say the Russians hacked the DNC servers.

Remember, the DNC refused to allow the FBI to investigate the servers. They hired their own team (CrowdStrike) to prepare the report blaming the Russians.

So there’s no law enforcement verification of a single one of the DNC allegations, and no 3rd party verification. We are just supposed to take their word for it.

Assange says he was provided the DNC info from a disgruntled insider (say, Seth Rich, though Assange refused to confirm this). Or could have been a power play within the DNC with people hating DWS’ guts and wanting her out.

There are PhDs out there in computer forensics. Prior to allowing testimony, Republicans should demand access by some 3rd party (FBI or their own experts) to find out if there’s any truth to the analysis done by CrowdStrike.

We’ve also seen this week that the CIA has a project that leaves false fingerprints for Russian Federation, China, and Iran making it possible for them to hack into a system and leave misleading forensics as clues. If the CIA has that technology, likely other governments and independent hackers have it as well. So even if their testimony is ‘we found fingerprints’ it’s completely worthless data.

I think it sounds like college kids because this particular group WAS college age fellas - gamers. If you’re wondering why they did this, understand their resentment over GamerGate. It’s the reason they hated HRC and wanted to get back at her.

Go to https://twitter.com/KimDotcom Read the pinned tweet.. HRC’s State Dept destroyed their hero’s life.

Exactly.

1. Two lost phones.

2. A practice of not changing passwords even when those passwords were exposed to the world.

3. Simple passwords.

4. Using the same password to access multiple accounts.

Any number of ways Podesta was hacked and none require a sophisticated user.

Republicans are being set up with nothing but Democrat shill experts in this upcoming hearing.

Trump needs to get on top of it. If evidence is introduced, he should subpoena the actual servers.

“How could he not know to change his password post hack?”

The only explanation, outside of a level of whole-campaign stupidity that is not credible, is that the “victim” wanted the information to be easily “hacked”. The question is Why?
