Tell the Republicans to do their damned job

I grow weary, beyond weary really, with the “but the Democrats” crap. And I shouldn’t be alone. We just had an election — Democrats got trounced. There are fewer Democrats in the legislative branch across the country since before the Great Depression. There is a Republican president to go along with those legislative majorities as well. Democrats lost more than 900 seats nationwide during the Obama years. The Democrats are literally in disarray and powerless.

1. Let me repeat that — the Democrats are literally powerless.

Republicans have all the political and parliamentary power to do pretty much whatever they want. Democrats can stop nothing. Only the Republicans can stop themselves.

We are not a nation of laws. We should be but never really have been. Instead, we are a nation of political will, and always have been. That political will, though, doesn’t come from the politicians. It comes from the will of the people. This is where you come in.

The Democrats cannot stop the Republicans from repealing every word of Obamacare, as the Republicans voted to do 50 times before the 2016 election.

The Democrats cannot stop us from learning the truth about whether or not the former president wire-tapped the current one.

Republicans have all the votes and power they need to repeal Obamacare. And they’ve had it since the day they took office more than two months ago. They now have a Republican president to sign it into law as well.

2. Tell them to use their power.

Your Republican president doesn’t need to wait for a congressional investigation into Obama wire-tapping. Nor does he need to just tweet about it. He is the freaking commander-in-chief and arguably the most powerful man in the world. He has almost limitless power to declassify anything any time.

It really is tiring dealing with the endless, perpetual loser, we just can’t do anything, we are so sorry that we exist but won’t you please try and find a way to like us mentality of the GOP.

It is also tiring that the GOP continues to put non-leader and non-conservative people such as McConnell and Ryan in leadership positions, but I guess I can understand why they do this considering that the GOP is not a leader, and the GOP is not conservative.

They got dragged kicking and screaming into controlling all three branches of government, and it is very clear that they do not want that responsibility and have zero idea what to do with it.

My criticisms in this post are not aimed at President Trump at all.

I simply mean to say that the GOP friggin’ sucks.

We sent Republicans, certainly.

But more than enough sent people they knew were RINOs. South Carolina, Arizona, Kentucky, Utah, Texas, and people in supposedly red states just went with whomever had the thickest country accent, could recite enough Bible verses, posed well with a gun, took enough photos with vets, played the most country music at rallies, and otherwise put on the best act.

A bunch of the so-called conservatives gladly put the RINO leadership back into power.

We have only Trump at this point, and at least a congress that isn’t run by Democrats. Maybe if we get on the rears of Congress can that mule start pulling the cart, but it will be difficult.

The inmates took over and are now in charge of the asylum

Trouble is - the inmates know no more about running the insane asylum (Washington DC) than did the guards.

This is solid proof that what I have been saying for the last 2 decades is true.

Elections will not fix what is broke in America because the scum in DC do not think it is broke.

There is only one fix for me. #TEXIT

Same here!!! The slowdown is depressing! Someone tell Trump he can pull rank.. please!

Paul Ryan repeatedly used the words “we can’t” on every single issue... “the dems will just filibuster”. So they did nothing. He is saying the same thing now on repealing obamacare.

Nailed it! To squander this power and opportunity would be devastating. This is a pinnacle point in our nations history and the conservative clean slate to save its future from the left and Islam.

The Republicans are not Republicans.

They are Democrats who need Republican votes.

It isn’t new. The only speaker to stand up at all was Gingrich. Usually it’s craven clowns in the GOP leadership like our present two worthless turkeys, acting in the spirit of Bob Michel and Gerald Ford. When the Dems say dance, they dance, otherwise they sit in the corner and sucks their thumbs.

The Republicans are like Gen. George McClellan in the Civil War. He was afraid to go all in against Lee because he felt that he faced overwhelming numbers, even though he always had numerical superiority on his side.

Mississippi conservatives tried our damndest to elect a real conservative, Chris McDaniel-he made it to a tie in the primary against Thad Cochran, the senile old coot-the RINOs pulled out all the stops to get McDaniel defeated-they paid ‘rats to vote in the run-off for Cochran, they paid black ‘rat preachers to denounce McDaniel as a racist with absolutely no basis, the Barbour clique undermined McDaniel, and conservative voters, every way they knew how. They played as dirty as I’ve ever seen, and they didn’t care who knew it either.

They got Cochran re-elected-—a man who, in his senility, joked about banging the farm animals, who is so senile he couldn’t find his way around the Congress building anymore, and has to be guided.

How do we fight such entrenched, and arrogant, because they know their own power, and dirty fighters who were supposed to be on our side, the conservative side, when they want their bought-and-paid-for people there, because they are in good with the lobbyists and have a relationship with them nurtured over decades?
