well, that's all fine and dandy if you're under 30 and disabled, but the bill allows companies to charge (up to, was it 4 times?) more for older people for premiums, so wouldn't age invalidate the 'charging them more money' stuff?
This bill should have been ready to go Day One. The recalcitrants in the RINO wing have to be held accountable.
So to summarize: BTFO conservatives, because our gop masters know what’s best for us.
Gaslighting at it’s worst.
No, not gas lighting at its worst.
Blackmailing at its worst.
Clearly every one of our representatives has been blackmailed. Supreme court justices too.
The proposed legislation would preserve the prohibition on denying coverage to people with pre-existing conditions or charging them more for such coverage, and it would preserve the prohibition on capping lifetime coverage.
I don't know if I would call these two things the worst aspects of ObamaCare, but I do know that these provisions are two of the biggest reasons why health insurance premiums have skyrocketed since ObamaCare was passed.
For one thing, it's ludicrous to think an insurance company is going to offer anything affordable if they can't charge the policy holders with a 100% risk for claims (the ones who are already sick) more for their coverage than they charge healthy people.
And why would anyone in Congress object to an insurance company even having the option to offer a multitude of different insurance plans to their clients -- say, with no lifetime cap, a $10 million cap, $5 million cap, or a $2 million cap?
Congress shall pass no law that applies to the citizens of the US that does not also apply to the congress, senate, and all federal employees.
Rather simple, isn’t it?
Until the insurance companies and drug companies are put out of business and replaced by companies reasonably regulated with charitable health insurance companies enabled to compete with shareholder driven ones, we will not solve the crisis nor drive down costs nor put Doctors and patients in charge of their own destiny.
Ryan is hateful and Donald acting like a stooge.
Not so long as Republicans have anything to do with it.
How about they make this easy for themselves and all involved.
Completely dump Obamacare and
Give all of us the same healthcare program they made for themselves
OR
They all go on whatever program they come up with for us.
They work for us, not the other way around.
Ryancare is Obamcare rearranged, it is not repeal.
Fedzilla’s attendants in Congress will not take away the power that Obamacare gives Fedzilla over the citizens.
It’s the structure of Obamacare that the Uniparty wants to preserve.
Blackmailed, or bribed?
Don’t worry the super secret phase 3 will save the day!
Key changes involving repeal of Obamacares Medicaid expansion and the Obamacare subsidies will not take full effect until 2020.
Now there is a fairy tale. No chance that happens in a POTUS election year. Plainly, we are being lied to. President Trump better wise up quick or this will be his “read my lips” moment.

Exactly. What will happen is people will still get offered near useless health “insurance” plans like we got now under Obamacare. $5k in premiums with a $5k deductible, etc. Except this time it won’t be Obamacare. It will be Trumpcare and suicide for the GOP.
The political class is all exempt. They are so out of touch because they don’t have to deal with the financial pain of Obamacare. If they were paying $800 a month for their families insurance with a $5k deductible you can bet they would not be putting lipstick on the Obamacare pig.
That by itself makes health "insurance" illegal. Whatever is offered under that shelf tag, "insurance" it ain't.
1. Let the GOP leadership in Congress do whatever the hell they want with their "health care reform." They can reform it, repeal it, sit on their @sses and leave ObamaCare in place, etc. It doesn't really matter.
2. Have some enterprising business and medical professionals -- you know, the kind of people who have been MAKING AMERICA GREAT for more than 200 years -- come up with a medical insurance or cost-sharing plan that is governed (or not) by the regulations in one or more states and saves its members a ton of money because it doesn't meet any of the ObamCare or RyanCare requirements.
3. Tell Congress, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and the insurance industry lobbyists that own Congress to go f#%& themselves.
For Congress and President Trump it would be politically disastrous to take a stand against an alternative option for health care that costs a fraction of what the legal ObamaCare and/or RyanCare crap costs.
