Sen. Orrin G. Hatch said Thursday he’s continuing to edge toward seeking an eighth Senate term in 2018.
But speaking with reporters at the Capitol Thursday afternoon, the Utah Republican did not go as far as he was reported to have gone in remarks to CNN earlier in the day.
“Well, put it this way: It’s just too early to make a decision,” Hatch said. “You know, my intention is to continue to serve Utah.”
Hatch had earlier told CNN, “I’m planning on [running] right now.” The octogenarian is the longest serving Republican senator and had previously said his seventh term would be his last.

Hatch, Heller, Corker and Flake all voted for the Gang of Amnesty. They must be replaced if we want to keep our country.

I agree. But I also know some of my Dad’s 90+ year old buddies who are sharp as tacks! Hatch? Not so sharp!
Those old poops who won’t retire is for one basic reason in my opinion, and here it is. They have spent their entire lives attempting to be saviors of people and fighting the good fight from behind the government veil. If they now can just balance the scales, they can be rewarded in heaven for their earthly works. They forgot the only Savior and as they age they realize their good works are not balancing out. Just ONE MORE GOOD DEED, and God will accept them. They simply are lost and have compromised all in a quest for “service”. The problem is that they serve mammon. The good ones walk away happy and live quietly, the fruity loops like Clinton, Carter and O’bama will never be finished.
The voters have term limits in their hands.
Stop voting for weasels.
You don’t have to vote for John McCain and Jeff Flake.
Throw them out in the primary.
We showed the rest of the country how it’s done when we threw out Eric Cantor.

If people stop voting for McCain and Flake, they will be turned out.
Eric Cantor is no longer in the House.
Flake needs to be removed in 2018.
