I think they should announce that all nuclear gravity bombs of the B61 type are to be phased out and replaced with a modern, revived version of the AGM-131 SRAM II missile. Interestingly, the SRAM II--with a range of up to 248 miles--is actually lighter than the B61 bomb itself, and the warhead can be adjusted between 10 and 200 KT in yield.

The B61 is also variable yield (0.3 KT to 340KT), a larger range.
