Russia's largest bank, Sberbank, has confirmed that it hired the consultancy of Tony Podesta, the elder brother of John Podesta who chaired Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign, for lobbying its interests in the United States and proactively seeking the removal of various Obama-era sanctions, the press service of the Russian institution told TASS on Thursday.

"The New York office of Sberbank CIB indeed hired Podesta Group. Engagement of external consultants is part of standard business practices for us," Sberbank said.

Hmmm. Wonder if that is how “the Russians” hacked his email. So that they could monitor his communications.

If you paid him that sum wouldn’t YOU want to follow-up and make sure he was making good on his part of the deal?

You mean the sanctions that allowed just one Russian Amb. to remain in the U.S. while all the others were removed? And that particular Ambassador managed to find a seat on the democrat side of the aisle for the President’s address to the nation? And was the one Sessions met with? And was the guy Flynn spoke to? Those sanctions seem to be tied to DNC/Russia already. Why not just finalize things and get all of your information from Russia spying on the U.S. and leave Obama’s hands clean?

Of course!

A smart person would cover all bases and from all angles. It is better than having an insider spy and cheaper too.

Interesting too — hacking one email can lead to other opportunities. For starters, you would have Podestas email list and possibility, email delivery details. Does it give passwords? No, but it narrows it down a bit and makes the hacking job easier.

But wait

Didn’t the democrats drive General Flynn out of the WH advisor job because they accused him of conspiring with the Russian ambassador to reduce sanctions?

But Podesta was going to be Hillary’s Secretary of State?

I think Flynn would have been fine if he hadn’t lied about it.
