Yeah, how hard was this one?

When I was about six, I asked my grandmother for a doll. My cousins had all been over, mostly girls, and they had dolls. They were playing with them and I was momentarily envious.

In today’s world, I’d have been put on medication and in shortly thereafter my winger would be missing...

Good call here. What took so freaking long?

When I was about six, I asked my grandmother for a doll.

When I was about the same age I ask my mother if I could be a boy. Being a sensible woman she said no and asked why I would want to be a boy. I said because my brother got to do so many cool things that I was not allowed to do.

She explained that he got to do those things because he was older then I was.

I then asked if I could be older....

My mother was a saint. :)
