Fellow Freepers I learned something interesting about Mexico - they have been up until recently subsidizing the price of gasoline. Now its full price and the people can’t afford to get around, and are a bit pissed. This is a country where late nights, family a big part of the culture - from the person I was talking to who was just there - Mexico is going from bad to worse. He said one of the things you don’t hear is that some are actually interested in what Trump has to say as they are looking for new answers. Mexico is a country that is quite literally stuck. 2017 - 2018 dark times in Mexico 100 years or more of crappy corrupt leadership is about to manifest itself in probably a bloody revolution. They have it coming still so many people will suffer needlessly because of corruption. Visit Costa Rica or Columbia for the next couple of years if you need to practice your spanish.
