The irony is that the skilled tradesman is making more than the guy who barely passed with an ethnic studies degree but is seen as inferior.

I call that smart investing. Instead of wasting his money being indoctrinated into ethnic studies, they wisely invested in the tools for their trade and should the world go to hell in a handbasket, they have a skill that will be useful instead of useless.

I've enjoyed some of the FR articles about women who didn't go on strike. They didn't want to lose a day's pay, or worked at female-owned business, or already owned their own business...
