Harry and Meghan were pictured holding hands in public for the first time during the wedding of his friend Tom Inskips wedding.
Harry was an usher at the wedding which took place in Montego Bay, Jamaica just miles away from where Meghan married her first husband Trevor Engleson in 2001.
A friend of the Princes reportedly said: This the first time that Meghan and Harry have socialised so openly as a couple and is a significant step up in their relationship.
Make no mistake, he is heads over heels about her. This one could go all the way.

Tradition. World tradition.
On Harry’s marriage, the Queen will bestow a duchy on him. His wife will be the Duchess of _____. Otherwise, she will be known as Princess Henry, but most people will refer to her as Princess Meghan, which is not technically correct.
+1
True. She’ll probably be the Duchess of Sussex or Duchess of Albany
In the 1950’s Princess Margaret was forced to give up on plans to marry Peter Townsend because he was a divorcee. Now, it isn’t a problem. Not that I have an issue with that; had I been around then I would have sided with Margaret.
PILF?
Princess Hottie?
“. Not that I have an issue with that; had I been around then I would have sided with Margaret.”
I WAS around then and most Americans sided with Margaret.
.
So she’ll be Princess Sussexy...
He’s 32, and THE most eligible bachelor in Britain.
She’s 35, an age from where her looks will fade rapidly. And she doesn’t have that many years left to give him an heir or two.
He could have done better.
At work when people ask me what my job title is I tell them that I am the Duke of Ipswich.
A UK Daily Mail article hinted that it may be cooling off. All the pictures I saw, she was attentive and loving towards him, but he seemed not to reciprocate. She would be better off dumping him...she is a thoroughly modern young lady and I doubt he is good marriage material. The restrictions of royal life would absolutely drive her batty, or away, I think.

I’ve often wondered what that sort of thing was all about. So suppose Harry becomes the Duke of Sussex. Does that actually mean anything? Will he have any real power in Sussex?
Or is it just an empty, honorary title, good for ribbon-cutting ceremonies and little else?
What will Meghan Markles title be if she marries Prince Harry?

_____-
No, it’s not an empty title. The Duchys are possessed by the Crown, to be given out as the crown sees fit. They are property owned by the Crown, and the Duke and Duchess would receivan income from the properties.

______________
Most of the public DID side with Margaret. The public also for the most part sided with Edward Viii when he abdicated. But there were strict rules in place then. Now it’s anything goes, I guess.
Not in this case. Only two of the Duchies traditionally bestowed on members of the royal family still own property and generate an income - Lancaster (which is always held by the Monarch) and Cornwall (which is always held by the Prince of Wales). None of the others come with any property or income any more.
Prince Harry is already a very wealthy man in his own right (his mother left him most of her fortune, on the basis that his older brother would have less need of it), so the lack of an income will not worry him.
Thanks for the explanation. All of which reminds me of this exchange from the old Bob Newhart show:
Jerry (wondering about his heritage): “I could be a duke or an earl.”
Bob: “You could be the Duke of Earl.”
