We are presently using OBD II ( on-board diagnostics, Second Generation) in the computers that control our cars engines and transmissions. OBD III is coming and it will allow law enforcement to shut down your car at will. Then of course there’s this matter of “self-driving cars” coming soon. You don’t think for a minute that when that happens, “authorities” won’t have the ability to take control of your car?
