Khizr Khan, the Gold Star father whose impassioned speech at the Democratic National Convention in July called on Americans to reject a ban on Muslims entering the United States, claimed that his “travel privileges are being reviewed” by U.S. authorities, forcing him to cancel a scheduled speech in Toronto.
As questions about his motivations for making the claim swirl, Khan has refused to elaborate on his initial statement to The Washington Post and other publications. A more detailed request for clarification did not receive an immediate response Tuesday afternoon.

I figured it was a hoax when I saw the headline about it last night.

It is, of course, an "invasion ban" based squarely on the Constitution.
"The United States...shall protect each [state] against invasion" (Art IV, Sec 4, U.S. Constitution).
Illegal immigration and immigration of our enemies is INVASION which the Constitution specifically mandates the federal government to prevent.

I’m tired of attention-grabbing “Gold Star” family members, and I’m a Gold Star father. Most of us want recognition for the one we lost, not for ourselves. But people are different.

This shows the duplicity of the Demoncrats. They drag him and his wife into their campaign and make a big deal out of their sacrifice (which it was). But when Pres. Trump honors the Navy Seal’s wife, Carryn Owens, for her loss the Dems say they are just using her for political gain.

Appreciate your family’s sacrifice. I agree with your point. Take McCain for instance...yes he was a POW and suffered badly for his nation but does that mean he can never be criticized? Like he has some kind of special “pass” or “privilege” against ever being questioned?
