I agree that they were probably pretty sure Hillary would win.
I think they intended to destroy Donald Trump even if he lost.
They wanted to snuff out the popular movement that Trump champions of America first, enforcing the borders, making trade deals that benefit American industry, and limiting immigration.
All of that strikes at the heart of their globalist agenda of deconstructing the United States, ethnic cleansing the legacy American people and moving to a global governing regime.
It must suck to be them, breaking all these laws figuring Hillary would protect them.

It became apparent to me as I watched the campaign that the Left not only wanted to destroy Trump politically, they wanted to destroy him professionally and personally as well. Trump was literally fighting for his “life” ... his reputation as a businessman, the business he built, his character, his family was attacked (pics of Melania that were published), etc., everything .... win or lose the election. Trump pissed off Obama & the thin-skinned narcissist had it in for him and still does - total destruction of Trump is the only thing that will satisfy Obama. At the realization of what the stakes for Trump truly were, I buckled down & did some serious praying for the man & my respect/admiration for him went waaaay up because he chose to enter politics to do something for America & the American people, despite the huge price he was paying already & would have/will pay if the Left is ultimately successful. It boils down to good against evil & my money is on Trump to prevail.
