I told the rabbi (liberal) that my youngest two fight over the blessings each Friday, that she finds it unfair that he is blessed first. I was hoping for some sweet little word of wisdom like how she will be worth more than rubies,etc, but nooooooo. He said he made up a NEW prayer that encompasses all kids at once regardless of gender. Oy gevalt!

Thanks for the info. I'm sure Democrats and that ilk...regardless of nationality...think yours and your grand daughter's Neanderthal attitudes need to be nipped right now. One thing we don't want is kids with fond memories of childhood and friends.
I don't remember much about being that age. I do remember the girls liked being girls and the boys liked being boys.
We had Moms and Dads (for the most part), That was, and I bet, still is, so.

Or in the case of our day care many years ago:
Mom and Mom and Mom. Two working mom’s invited another woman into the relationship to be the SAHM. Their “son” was in my daughter’s class. He was actually confiscated from one of the women’s sister when she went to prison.
