Hey Drag - one thing I have discovered on this site over the years, most people project their behavior as the behavior of everyone else, too.

You are one person. Just one. Only one. There are 320 million people in this country and it may surprise you that not everyone does the same things you do. Not everyone likes the same things you do. Not everyone likes the same foods you do and not everyone likes the same TV programs and movies as you do. Understand?

The networks and the papers are not the only ones in town, but they are still the most influential because of their reach.

Trump still lost the popular vote. More people voted for Hillary, or another way to put it is that more people vote against Trump than Hillary.

I have watched network news perhaps a dozen times since 1992, but I am aware their influence is still the greatest.

Hey Davy, don't be butt hurt. This is not about me. My comment is was directed network news. And it's no secret old school network news media is now viewed as a goofy spectacle, where the collusive deceivers coddle extreme leftist while drilling deep and mocking those with more conservative traditional views.

I'm not talking about some cooking show, female mud-wrestling, dog racing or whatever you might like. You can get all that on the Internet anyway. Did you not see what you're responding to?

"There are alternate sources for news everywhere on the net now. The lying networks are not the only game in town anymore."

And btw Davy, remember this is the country that recently elected Obamba, not once but twice. Of course there are still millions who still use TV. So there ya go.
