The ‘Big If’: What crimes could Obama potentially be charged with?
American Thinker ^ | March 5, 2017 | Thomas Lifson

Posted on 03/05/2017 7:10:09 AM PST by detective

Yes, it is way too soon to start counting-up indictments that former President Obama could face. We know absolutely nothing about the evidence President Trump relied upon in his Twitter accusations, nor do we know of enough specifics.

Still, we get to have fun once in a while, don’t we?

The 2nd floor at Vad Yishem is Filing Cabinets with all the names of those disposed of by the 3rd Reich. The NAZIs kept copious notes. Why? because they were sure they were going to get away with it. They were evil and arrogant. That made them stupid.

....it is possible Obama’s team may have perjured themselves before the FISA court by withholding material information essential to the FISA court’s willingness to permit the government surveillance....

This could also fall under the Crimes Act of 1958.

FALSIFYING GOVT DOCUMENTS.

Keep in mind---falsifying official documents is the criminal MO to hide larger crimes.

A person falsifying documents can be held criminally liable if they are deliberately acting with the intention of deceiving or defrauding another party.

Falsifying documents is a very serious offense and is generally classified as a felony. This means that a person charged with falsifying documents may be subject to the following legal penalties:
◾Having to pay a monetary fine
◾Incarceration in a prison facility

Depending on the gravity of the offense, as well as individual state laws, falsifying documents can result in a prison sentence of 5-10 years.

Also, if official government documents or govt authorities were involved, the legal penalties may be more severe. Legal penalties may increase with repeat offenses.

Many different types of acts can be considered as falsifying a document, including:
◾Altering or misrepresenting fact-based information
◾Stating false information when requested to provide truthful statements
◾Forging a signature
◾Using official letterheads without authorization
◾Knowingly using or distributing a fake document

The penalty for falsifying government documents is outlined in the Crimes Act of 1958.

Hope there’s something there. Otherwise it’s more to do about nothing. Their side has time to waste-we don’t. House arrest in Kenya would do it.

So “if” anything comes of this, Obama will be just like the Clintons; a hero to his supporters as he traipse around the Country, doing speeches and writing books as he declares the Court got it wrong. Not much to hang my hat on.

I agree in that former President Obama won’t be dragged into court....but some inner-circle person will be. It’s a repeat of the Scooter Libby episode. You can figure that this will take at least five months to sort through. Each person who did paperwork for the court documentation will be forced to provide testimony and I’m guessing all of them are sitting with lawyers this weekend and wondering what they kept to keep pressure off of them.

This speculation of Hillary and the Uranium business might start to get dragged out as well.

For the 2018 mid-term....this is really bad news for the Democrats. I can see 12 seats flipping over to the GOP now. Zero chance for any recover in 2018 or 2020.

Exactly, which opens up a whole world of contemplation knowing all of this was done with the full expectation of a win for Hillary.

What were the reasons for this activity then? 1) To completely eviscerate a divided Relublican Party. 2) Give cover for a "tough stance towards Russia" by Hillary, perhaps even up to a NATO skirmish with Russia over Crimea and Ukraine. 3) hmm...

Just-elected DNC Perez bragged Democrats would show their resistance to Trump could be translated into electoral victories.

Despite heavy investments, Democrats Flip Zero Seats in Four Blue State Special Elections just last week

To add insult to injury, the Minnesota, Connecticut, Virginia Democrat losses are the states Hillary won in the 2016 presidential election.

Impeach Trump.

No. If Trump faced impeachment, we would have or there would soon be the conditions that would cause Trump to declare emergency government thus overriding the constitution. War, economic collapse, serious on the street internal strife. Trump’s opposition would go to a CMU, go underground, or flee the country. Remember all the EOs 0bama signed for emergency government, well Trump did not rescind them, did he?

They will and are trying to terminate him. This is their only real option, just like JFK.

John Dean organized the Watergate breakin, as the book, “Silent Coup,” explained. I doubt that Obama has any of the integrity or intelligence that the much derided Pres. Nixon had, however.

I don’t know why they don’t go after the stolen SSN Zero has been using for 20 years. It’s such low-hanging fruit... and such a slam dunk. Should be worth a few years in a federal correctional facility while the real indictments are drawn up.
