British armed forces offered to attempt to rescue nearly 300 Nigerian schoolgirls kidnapped by the Islamist militant group Boko Haram, but were rebuffed by Goodluck Jonathan, Nigerias president at the time, the Observer has learned. In a mission named Operation Turus, the RAF conducted air reconnaissance over northern Nigeria for several months, following the kidnapping of 276 girls from the town of Chibok in April 2014. The girls were located in the first few weeks of the RAF mission, a source involved in Operation Turus told the Observer. We offered to rescue them, but the Nigerian government declined. The girls were then tracked by the aircraft as they were dispersed into progressively smaller groups over the following months, the source added.

Goodluck and his government are just as guilty as the terrorists. Sick. Too bad the Brits did not have the balls to rescue them and eliminate Goodluck at the same time.

Is there some reason to take the Guardian’s word for this? If the story were about Trump, you wouldn’t.
The Brits are having a bit of a cultural problem these days. So if the Guardian is spinning, it could be to make the Brits look like the good old boys back home. They may also be considering following a Trump lead and cutting foreign aid. Or maybe Goodluck has signaled another go at running for President and this is preemptive. Time will tell.
OR maybe it’s because there is a link between the capture and movement of 300 SCHOOLGIRLS and PIZZAGATE ?

Britain, as the former colonizer of Nigeria, had to go through the motions of pretending Nigerian girls matter. The threat of British intervention helped end the war in Sierra Leone.
