Former President Obama on Saturday denied President Trump’s accusation that Obama had Trump Tower phones tapped in the weeks before the November 2016 election.
“Neither President Obama nor any White House official ever ordered surveillance on any U.S. citizen. Any suggestion otherwise is simply false," said Kevin Lewis, a spokesman for the former president.

He didn’t “order” it his lackeys outside the WH “arranged” for it.... but since President Trump is accusing Obozo quite personally and directly we can expect that some kind of trail leads back to him, just not the kind with an “order” from the WH (which is not how FISA warrants work, anyway!).

think about taking over a company of even 5000 employees. If half of them are against you, chances are that quite a few will still be needed for a while. that’s just common sense and it doesn’t change at the executive level. It will take a while.
I recall his denials about the IRS scandal, his obstruction of justice related to Eric Holder’s perjury in the Fast and Furious case, as well as his many other denials...
