Did I say that?
Thanks!
The question is ...... if Trump wasnt running for president, would he have been targeted? Clearly, the answer is no. Obama should go directly to jail.
Obama used the IRS, FBI, DOJ, and NSA as political operatives. Lock him up. (add CUIA to the above abuses)
I would be happy if he, his family and Jarrett flew to Saudi Arabia to avoid arrests and stayed there. Then Trump could have him monitored 24/7 to see if he was up to more crimes against Americans.
Still batting 1.000 on never telling the truth.
There is no reason the Sessions DOJ can't handle the investigation.
Sessions is already independent of Obama, the target of the investigation.
Unless Jeff Sessions and Obama are secretly in business together or something, we don't need to find someone new who is independent of Obama in order to investigate Obama.
If you like your privacy, you can keep your privacy.
Thanks.
The kudos go to detective.
I was about half through my morning coffee when the local Fox tv channel basically said what Sundance said.
The first thing through my semi awake brain was there was hard data that Obama had ordered the wiretapping of Trump’s system in Trump Tower in NYC.
Thanks to detective’s post, I knew that Trump’s charge was real and documented.
Apparently the first judge turned down the FISA request and so Obama found a judge that would approve the tap.
Read the headline closely...
No more ILLEGAL wiretapping.
That does NOT cover LEGAL wiretaps.
btt
The fact they trotted out Ben Rhodes is a tantamount admission to the fact they got snookered, Bigly!
Rhodes’ arrogance contributed to the misfire: Rhodes sneered that if Obama did it, it was to “protect others from people like you.”
There’s the admission right there....the previously discuseed raison d’etre that they had in hand....just in case.
From my law professor friend:
My experience with Title III wiretaps is somewhat limited. It is often not used in state initiated wiretap cases because of all the rig-a-ma-role involved. It had to be a big case. Legitimately, they are not easy to obtain, and the dimunitation regulations (when the conversation strays from the crime investigated) are often not officially obeyed.
There should be records reflecting any Title III wiretap investigations (absent national security sanctions). Certainly were Obama’s people to utilize “Title III” wiretaps without proper judicial supervision) it would be criminal. It could also involve individual lawyer sanctions in any jurisdiction where the attorneys involved were licensed to practice. (NOTE: a lawyer admitted in multiple juridictions is held to the standards of the highest level of any of the jurisdictions—in short, something legal in DC but illegal in Arizona could cause censure of the lawyer in AZ.
The applications for Title III wiretaps are extensive. Much has to be disclosed. At a minimum probable cause to proceed must be firmly established, and the progress of the wiretapping must be reported to the authorizing court.
The proper way to investigate this is by classic legislative oversight.
Q: You conducted a wiretap on (X}?
Q: You had to set out a case for wiretapping?
Q. You had to present that to a judge?
Q. That judge approved the wiretaps upon your justification?
Q. What was that justification?
Q: In your pursuit of permission to wiretap, did you have assistance?
Q: Was that assistance in the form of legal advice?
Q: Who provided that legal assistance?
Q: What facts were presented to you to secure that wiretapping permission?
Q. Did you verify that advice from your legal representatives?
Q: Were dimunition procedures followed in your wiretaps?
Q: Who gave you permission to depart from dimunition requirements.
Q: Will you point out that person, if present, for the record.
Q: Exactly what instructions were you provided should dimunition procedures normally be followed?
It depends on what the meaning of the word “illegal” is.... or was it “is” is?.......
If one would give me six lines written by the hand of the most honest man, I would find something in them to have him hanged. Cardinal Richelieu in 1641.
Also, Stalins NKVD spy chief Beria is purported to have said, Show me the man and I’ll find you the crime.
That’s why we have a 4th amendment first and foremost. There are so many state and federal laws and rules created by unelected bureacrats that anyone can be convicted of a crime if prosecutor wants a conviction badly enough.
