Yale University Climate Opinion Maps Show What Americans Think About Global Warming

Americans are split geographically on the topic of climate change, sometimes by county lines or congressional districts, according to new data released by Yale University's Program on Climate Change Communication.

The Climate Opinion Maps give Americans an interactive glimpse into the country's view of threats from global warming. The survey results are sortable on the study's website, allowing users to see the Americans' opinions on climate change at a state, county and even metro level.

TOPICS: Culture/Society; News/Current Events
KEYWORDS: anthropogenic; climate; climatechangefraud; climatechangemap; fakenews; fakepoll; fakescience; warming
Interesting results. It appears Americans are conflicted, in unexpected ways, about warming.

Hat tip: Suspicious Observers

Conservatives should always say that they support a “clean environment” when discussing global warming. Opponents try to smear those that don’t support global warming as reckless and willing to trash the environment.

I support a clean environment but I don’t buy into all the global warming BS.

Americans are split geographically on the topic of climate change

Also split intellectually. Assholes believe in it, reasonable, thinking people don’t.

The real climate issue is that we are most likely entering a mini ice age. This is a natural occurring event and much more dangerous than warming

This survey from Pew is pure Bravo Sierra.
According to Pew Polling (a liberal polling firm) 53% of Americans do not believe in “man caused” global warming, 40% do believe in man caused global warming. Click the link below for the article.

Climate change is a form of indoctrination, teachers mothers and children, kinda like being called a racist, you are cornered and embarrassed or ostracized if you are on the fence or against it. This is thier tactic, in order for it to be sucessful scam you need believers who will not look behind the curtain are look for the stats and the truth

“clean environment”

I take a different tact. I want to protect people, not the environment. This means I’m willing to support reasonable pollution controls but I also realize the technology and industry are necessary and am not willing to place concerns for the environment over people.

To me, people are more important. The EPA was originally named “The pollution control agency” when it began under Nixon and under that perceived mandate got republican buy in.

Now we have the environment being more important than people so you can’t build a needed road because of some obscure critter nearby, etc..

A more egregious example is in Calvert Cliffs Maryland where people are not allowed to take measures to protect their homes from falling into the Bay because it’d fail to preserve the natural state of those delicate cliffs.

I see your point.

My point, although I can agree was not clearly stated, is that liberals try to define us. They try to make us appear to willing to bulldoze the world for any economic gain which certainly isn’t true.

I enjoy the outdoors — fishing, hiking, etc. But I also understand the need to economic prosperity. There’s a balance that most of us understand. The extremist liberals don’t understand the balance.

The massive fraud and deceit surrounding climate change has become so pervasive that it’s impossible to believe anything. The value of research and reporting on research has been utterly destroyed. Everyone is now free to believe anything they want to believe because the truth has become unknowable.
