Missouri gas stations can offer straight premium gasoline, 91 or 93 octane. It’s all I use in my mowers, outboard motors and the like.
Unfortunately, it $.50 to $.65 over 87 oxy.

“Many vehicles are now designed for E85.”
Check the BTU per gallon difference between E85 and gasoline.

Thanks for posting that site. Looked up my state and found a station in my town that I did not know about.

Be nice to get some horsepower back. Get rid of the useless TPMS as well.

This is precisely the type of governance I was hoping to see from President Trump.
Now scrap that CAFE garbage while you're at it.

If these vehicle rules curbed global warming, why is there still global warming (according to the DemocRATS)?

The EPA has been a pawn of the progressive ecco-nazis for a long time. But it has grown particularly bad in the last decade. Regulations that conflict with each other - ever-lower emissions requirements along with every increasing MPG requirements. There is a reason VW got "caught" doctoring their figures on emissions - and apparently some others (Chrysler/RAM). Several years ago - a friend of mine (now a Deacon at one of my former churches) bought a brand new RAM 2500 Cummins for his farm. Nice truck. It was getting a calculated 22+mpg on the highway (no load). He was absolutely thrilled. Then comes this recall notice - apparently there was a computer tuning that needed to be updated due to emissions being greater than allowed under the law. He took it in, the dealer did the mandatory reprogram. He never again saw over 19mpg. So he lost over 10% in fuel efficiency - all to reduce emissions by less than 2%. Now - I'm no with wiz, but it sounds to me like he is burning more fuel, which actually results in a net MORE emissions than before the re-tune. Kind of like folks who burn E85 in their car - you reduce emissions, but you also burn ⅓ more fuel. Per gallon of fuel burned, you produce fewer "greenhouse gasses", but because you are burning significantly more fuel (which required the burning of fuel to produce in the fields as corn, to haul to ethanol production plants, etc.) - you are actually spending more $ and creating MORE emissions in total. It is all a scam.

His support has nothing to do with the environment - it is about supporting subsidies and payouts for producing ethanol. It’s called vote buying.

Around here, a very small number of stations offer “no ethanol” gasoline. It is usually 10-20 cents per gallon more.

When truly allowed to exist, real “free markets” take away power from politicians. They can’t have that!
As to choice - I agree. Remove the subsidies and price supports, as well as the mandates for Ethanol. Then let the market decide. If people want to burn ethanol - if it makes them feel all warm and fuzzy... then great! It is like those electric and hybrid vehicles - do NOT subsidize the manufacture and sale of them, take away the tax credits for buying them - and let them compete on an even platform. Let consumers decide.
And If I want to buy a big truck with big horsepower that burns a bunch of gas (or diesel) - I should be able to, right off a dealer’s lot - and no manufacturer should be penalized because their “fleet efficiency” isn’t a certain level.

The E.P.A. will also begin legal proceedings to revoke a waiver for California that was allowing the state to enforce the tougher tailpipe standards for its drivers.
This right here is the part that will DEVESTATE the Watermelon crowd. EVERY COMPANY on the Planet Builds their products to the MUCH HIGHER Standards of California. This REMOVES THE INFLUENCE CALIFORNIA has on the Rest of the Country. CARB in California only has the AUTHORITY TO OPERATE because of this Waiver. Once repealed they are OUT OF BUSINESS!!!

Maybe they’ll stop fostering us, with all of those vehicles whith 18” = 21” wheels, on vehicles that sit so high up, running boards are needed to get in or out of them easily.

The global warming hoax AKA “Climate Guiltism”, is about to be dealt a stunning blow.

OK!! Everybody pay attention!
Lesson for today:
1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.
2. The sun is a giant nuclear furnace that controls the climates of all its planets.
3. The earth is one of the suns planets.
4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.
5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.
Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?
