Trump doesn’t currently have the power to do it. If he tried they’d ignore him. To pull off a mass firing he’d need A) full control of all the security forces B) Security forces willing to ignore the unconstitutional orders from judges that void the firings, and C) full control of the IT networks to stop the pay checks and revoke access.
Given the behavior of the FBI I don’t think he has full control of the security forces, yet. It takes time to organize a counter coup but I think Trump is hard at work on it.
