Swedes Investigate Hacking
SVT (Swedish TV) ^ | 2 Mar 2017 | Johan Pisoni

Basic translation: If you remember the Stockholm cop who recently aired a lot of commentary about problems with law enforcement and migrates within the city...well, the cops have decided to investigate him for hacking into their computer system.

Chief logic? He utilized a lot of data to back-up his facts, which the data could only have come from their own database. So they are accusing him of illegal behavior and misuse of protected police data. Story lead by SVT TV news folks.

TOPICS: Front Page News
KEYWORDS: hijrah; police; sweden
The fact that all of the criticism that the cop (Peter Knight) dumped had statistical numbers behind it and easily established fact...gave the city leadership no choice but accuse him of misuse of the data.

However, if they pursue the case and hope that he just retires...he might decide to ask for a court episode and then ask to present the entire database to the judge.

Presently, a lot of Swedes are asking questions and if the political folks are hiding massive problems. In any case, a can of worms is about to be opened in Stockholm.

Could you elaborate. I do not see the link between “established fact” and “no choice”.

Perhaps the Swedes have a law against telling the truth about immigrants?

Thanks for the explanation.
This is like a grown up example of what happens in the states, when I teacher is filmed saying something harmful or hateful. The school usually decides feign outrage and go after the student for daring to film the naughty teacher, and ignore what was said in front of students.

I did a google translation of the article.

The officer has not even read the charges yet. So we do not really know what is going on yet.

Why don’t the Swedes investigate why their government is condoning the Islamic overthrow of their country?

From the public media comments that Knight had posted...virtually every single one had periods, dates, city-names, etc. It’s all factual and there was no way that the political folks could whip out a different excuse. Then they realized....he used the police database. The accusation will be that he never had permission to do so. So, they likely want him dragged into a court for hacking. The judge will ask if he had a legal and correct password...which he did, and the whole case will be suspect from that point on.

If you go to most European countries (I’ll use Germany as a good example)....the databases are mostly suspect to start with because the cops have been instructed how to input the data and avoid certain key-words which would indicate immigrates or migrants as part of the crime scene. In most countries, the database is worthless.

It would appear that the cops in Swede routinely put in complete reports and indicated the full extent of the crime. If the database ever gets dragged into court and regular citizens can access it....it’s going to pose public trust problems.

It appears that they are mostly ‘fishing’ for some charge that will stick. So far, Knight hasn’t stumbled on his accusations.

My ex-wife’s US family immigrated from Sweden. They are very smart, practical and no-nonsense people. I guess that all of the smart ones left Sweden long ago.

Sort of like the Russians hacking Podesta’s and Hillary's emails. Some pretty nasty things were said about their constituents. Yet, the Russians hacking mantra gets repeated over and over.

Yes, you nailed it. Politically INCORRECT speech is a prosecutable offense in Sweden.

the same reason Mao assured the millions of starving peasants and the rest of the world that food was abundant during the great leap forward.

Out of sight out of mind. Nothing so see here. Oceania has always been at war with Eastasia
