For all the tough talk about the so-called "alt-Right," it's fair to ask why Ellison's record has not been subject to greater scrutiny. It's an uncomfortable truth that anti-Semitism exists on the left just as it does on the right. If national Democrats are now trying to find ways to co-exist with it rather than smack it down, they deserve to be called on it. Whether anyone will look is an entirely different matter.

After Jesse Jackson’s incident where he was secretly recorded talking about Jews I realized that Jews in America only care if white Christians criticize them. It’s the truth. No matter how antisemetic non whites and non Christians are the Jews themselves just shrug it off.

The truth is that anti-Jewish sentiment is far more pervasive on the Left than the Right. Wasn't always that way, but it is now, and has been for a while.
