Just for perspective, the affirmative action set asides used on the UC system in the early 70's were a total disaster. The University of California set aside 5% for affirmative action recruiting (excluding 5% of well qualified candidates who weren't selected on the basis of a racial preference). Only 2% of that 5% recruited were successful to graduation day. The students were recruited into a highly competitive environment where they were academically overwhelmed. Had they gone to a less academically voracious environment, they might have survived long enough to finish a degree. There is value is having institutions that are academic hotbeds and others that are slower paced. The fiction that we are all created equal is a crock. We need a little of both kinds to provide people an opportunity to succeed.

There are non-black students at these schools these days. Decades ago I remember researching law schools and saw the average (or median, I forget which) LSAT score for Texas Southern was something like 11 on a 48 point scale.

In the mission statement was wording something along the lines of "Texas Southern provides a law school education for those who would otherwise not have one." Cleverly worded. While the school at the time was mostly black, there was a statistically significant number of whites there too, who presumably would be unable to otherwise receive a law school education.

Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Mo is an example. It is the “historically black” public university for Missouri. I’ve been told that it is nearly all black in the daytime, but mainly white for evening classes. The reason? Jeff City is the capital of Missouri and has lots of government employees who can advance on the pay-scale ladder by furthering their education. So state employees attend Lincoln after work hours.

Even your “white” public school is a “programming” (with agitprop) center.
It just is ideological subversion so embedded in the curricula parents are ignorant of it until their children are too old with all the “correct” embedded worldview of the reprobate. “Large groups of children are unsupervised children and today most children are exposed to vile child abuse and neglect and “good” children will be given their ideas which will corrupt them. Children have to be protected from reprobates (atheists, sodomites—most “teachers”).

Parents can’t figure out how their children turned out so irrational and ignorant which is the way the “publik” schools intended all along (to trap children and make them hate reading the Great Books and hate God (Christianity).......it is all designed.

(Homeschool—educate your own children as God designed and as the USA did for over 150 years. Lincoln was “schooled” only for a few months (thank goodness) of his entire life. (Group “think” institutional “care” is no think).

I’ve read about the historically black college leaders who decry affirmative action, that they’d have graduated a science major whereas the black students come out with useless black history degrees from big name colleges instead.
