I quit Target back when they thru out the Salvation Army folks years ago .
I wasn't aware of any to-do with the Salvation Army. But Target's profits are probably down $50 because I haven't been to one since they decided dirty old men (like moi) could follow little girls into their bathrooms.
As for the Salvation Army and other charities looking for donations outside stores where I shop. I don't like them. I don't like the guilt trip.

Same here, the pervert bathroom policy was icing on the cake. You want to base your business policy on .5% of the countries population and expect it work, good luck with that! And you went to college to learn this? You need a refund Mr. Target CEO!
