Trump: Obama is behind leaks
Arutz Sheva ^ | 2/28/17 | David Rosenberg

Posted on 02/28/2017 2:00:05 AM PST by Lera

President Trump reportedly approved checks on administration aides' cell phones as leaks to press continue.

President Donald Trump has accused his predecessor, Barack Obama, of instigating a series of leaks within the administration and the raucous town hall meetings facing Republican lawmakers across the country.

The White House has faced a wave of leaks to the media since inauguration day more than a month ago, as the administration works to fill hundreds of remaining vacancies, leaving temporary Obama administration holdovers in place.

As the Trump administration looks to plug the leaks, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer ordered staffers to submit their cellular devices for examination, to ensure they had not made unauthorized contacts with media outlets.

Multiple sources told CNN Monday night that this heightened surveillance was approved by President Trump, who they say is outraged over the leaks.

Spicer denied that claim, however, saying the president “did not sign off or even know what I did. That is not accurate.”

Speaking with Fox News on Monday, President Trump suggested that his predecessor, President Obama, was responsible for both the recent flood of leaks and disruptions of town hall meetings held by Republican lawmakers.

“I think he is behind it,” said Trump. “I also think it is politics, that’s the way it is.”

“I think that President Obama is behind it because his people are certainly behind it. And some of the leaks possibly come from that group, which are really serious because they are very bad in terms of national security. But I also understand that is politics. In terms of him being behind things, that's politics. And it will probably continue."

Why has not Trump blanket fired all Obama holdovers??? The work that continues to get done is detrimental and having no one in the office for a few days would do less damage.

I doubt Trump is “outraged.” Surely he expected as much. He knows he is dealing with people who consider themselves “revolutionaries” who will do anything they can to stymie or damage the “reactionary” president. Making examples of a few of them will not deter the others.

I think you can only fire “political appointees” and the regular staffers are protected federal union employees.

I think they can be moved to other locations and kept out of the loop to prevent leaks, but then you have to pay them plus their replacements. Where will the budget come from to double the federal workforce ?

This is why the leaks need to be tracked down, because it is impractical to replace everyone. Mole hunts take time.

Trust our President.

There is a chess match going on behind the scenes. On this match rests the fate of our Republic.

My hunch - Obama is very close to overreaching himself and Trump knows this . Once he does , Trump will have irrefutable evidence for the arrest and prosecution of BO.

We need to trust Trump’s patient strategy. He has not let us done so far and deserves our faith in his plan .

Whatttttttt????

President Trump, I thought you were going to "drain the swamp" and take care of this BS.

Well, you got the big stick now, use it. You are letting this Halfrican POS make a mockery of you and the people who elected you to office.

If you continue to let him run the shadow government, he will take back America from US and leave you on the curb with your thumb in your mouth and us fighting for our country.

It is time to put up because the Lord knows you have shouted from the roof tops long enough

PRESIDENT TRUMP: “I think that President Obama is behind it (leaks and raucous town halls) because his people are certainly behind it.....they are very bad in terms of national security."

Right, Mr President. Look who Obama appointed to protect US national security. She quit eight days into the Trump admin, Rumana Ahmed, a hijab-wearing Muslim actually worked at the National Security Council during the Obama administration....betcha she must know plenty about this.

=======================================

Pittsburgh FBI field office's Cyber-security Unit is trying to identify those individuals behind breaches of the DNC's computer systems. The 2015 and early 2016 breaches exposed the internal communications of Democrat party officials as the convention got underway........

Three Muslim brothers---IT workers on Cpitol Hill---apparently compromised House Intelligence, and Foreign Affairs Committee members: Abi Awan, Imran Awan and Jamal Awan, are said to be Pakistani foreign nationals. They worked within the IT department for Democrats exclusively---members of the House Permanent Intelligence Committee, including Cong Debbie Wasserman Schultz----onetime DNC chair.

There is a fourth brother and his Muslim wife involved in sensitive political IT exclusively for Democrats....all share a residence.

===========================================

CONGRESS AND THE FBI NEED TO DETERMINE:

<><> Extent of Wassermann-Schultz and the DNC's assistance to the three members of the intelligence panel and five members of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs who were among the dozens of elected members employing the suspects on a shared basis.

<><>Were govt intel computers ever transported off-premises?

<><>Did the FBI and/or Secret Service accompany and supervise the transport of the server?

<><> Did the three brothers have an active email account?

<><> Was there continuity of intel computer activity or did the intel computers ever go off-line?

<><> Who received govt intel?

<><>Did the three brother get officially qualified by Wasserman Schultz and the DNC to handle national-security-level data?

<><> Did the three brothers ever “upgrade, manage, and secure” the DNC server.

<><> What - specifically - did they do?

<><> Did Wasserman Schultz and the DNC vet the three brothers security clearance to handle this type of intel?

<><> What were the DNC firewall protocols in place at the time?

<><>Who, by name, had access to intel computers, and the administrative authorization to do so?

<><>When was that authorization given?

<><>Did the three brothers ever remove all data from the intel computers?

<><> Was malware or antivirus also on the server?

<><> Was the inherent firewall, virus protection, or operating system “upgraded, managed, and secured” by the brothers?

<><> Did Wasserman Schultz at the DNC report any incidents, such as DOS attack, hacking, etc. How were they resolved?

<><> Did the three brothers maintain the DNC intel computer?

<><> Does Wasserman Schultz and the DNC know if the House Permanent Intelligence Committee computers in functioning condition at this time?

<><> Does Wasserman Schultz and the DNC have the work schedule of the brothers just prior to being outed for security breaches?

<><> Were normal and regular backup procedures executed on the server?

<><> Where are the back-ups kept?

<><> If no backups were taken, does the DNC have a disaster recovery location? Where is that?

<><> Did the DNC have a backup plan if the House Permanent Intelligence Committee plan intel equipment failed or was found to have been compromised?

<><> Does Wasserman Schultz and the DNC have a list of other foreign nationals (from countries President Obama identified as terrorist countries) Democrats employed on Capitol Hill?

<><> The DNC should list foreign nationals by name and country on Democrats' payrolls, who currently have access to US intel and are using govt computers.

I have faith that Trump is much more astute and perceptive than anyone else on the scene. I used to cringe at some of the things he says but after seeing that all of it gets him points and votes and by their reactions to it the other side looks foolish and vicious. I don’t second guess him any more, not after the first take, anyway. Sometimes I wonder why at something and express some frustration but it becomes clear by and by. I would love to see Hussein and the Clintons and those complicit with them to be in the dock with the whole ACLU defending them.

Exactly. Anyone who worked in the Zero WH needs to be gone, including all the housekeeping staff and kitchen help. Don’t forget the travel office. ;-)
