Darrell Issa goes off the deep end
powerlineblog.com ^ | 2/25/17 | Paul Mirengoff

In November, Rep. Darrell Issa had what, for him, may have been a “near death experience.” He almost lost his congressional race. Perhaps this explains why he agreed yesterday with Bill Maher that a special prosecutor should investigate Russia’s alleged interference with the 2016 presidential election.

Issa started out on solid ground, telling the lefty talk show host that House and Senate intelligence committees would look into Russia’s activities “within the special areas they oversee.” That’s how things should work. If there’s an issue relating to Russian intelligence activity and hacking capabilities, that’s for the intel committees, along with our intelligence agencies, to examine.

So investigate it and then declare that there is nothing to it . . . like that would even shut up the haters.

Lol, consider a special prosecutor after all the Obama scandals have been investigated by special prosecutors. Or, just have a policy of appointing the same number of special prosecutors as were appointed during the Obama years.

Issa really is off the rails with that comment.

Cough cough:: Coffee sip

After receiving a hardship discharge from the Army in 1972 after his father suffered a heart attack, Issa earned a General Educational Development (GED) certificate.[13] Twice that year, he was arrested. In the first incident he was indicted by a grand jury for an alleged theft of a Maserati, but prosecutors dropped the charge.[17] In the second incident, he was stopped for driving the wrong way on a one-way street, and a police officer noticed a firearm in his glove compartment; Issa was charged with carrying a concealed weapon. He pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of an unregistered firearm, and was sentenced to six months' probation and a small fine.[17] Issa has said he believes the record has since been expunged.[13]

Just another useless “congressional investigator”...interested only in preserving his access to lobbyists. Say no more.

Issa is the Richest Person in Congress. I wouldn’t categorize his close election as a “near death experience”. With his money, he could buy the votes of many congressmen.

Dumb. Really dumb.

To elaborate further with nouns and adjectives and such would certainly bring about an end to my Freeper Career.

So I’ll just stop right there.

Take a gander at Issa’s wikipedia profile. He sounds like he has more than a few corruption skeletons in his closet, which explains why a) he was allowed to have the post he had, and b) nothing ever came of his committee’s work: the deep state held him tight by the shorties.

This latest represents exactly the same. And he wouldn’t even be speaking out if he didn’t have Ryan’s tacit blessing.

He’s in a state that hosts Fake Elections.

Any person who gets a driver’s license can get registered to vote at the same visit. Without primary ID like birth certificate or passport.

So we have voters running around voting, who don’t even know their vote is fraudulent. By design.

Fake elections should not count, be here (he’s my congressman) they do.

This bozo has really pissed me off. Even the snowflakes have given up on the Russki myth thing because they know it was just liberal ‘RAT bull****. Jerko here wants to waste million of taxpayer dollars on a witch hunt in hopes of bringing down PRESIDENT Trump. Spend the money searching for Bigfoot.

Maybe, while he’s at it, he could investigate McCain’s Russia connection?

McCain, when he ran for President in 2008, asked Russia for help.

Here is a verified letter the McCain campaign sent to Russia asking for contributions in 2008:

https://wikileaks.org/wiki/John_McCain_fundraising_appeal_letter_to_Russian_Ambassador_Vitaly_Churkin,_Sep_29_2008

This is obviously a witch hunt, there’s no serious evidence Trump did anything wrong, but too many politicians have links to foreign interests. That needs to stop.

Saudi Arabia has ties to both McCain, Obama and Clinton. Investigate those as well?

Issa is a Uniparty eunuch.

His investigations went nowhere, on purpose.

You’re wrong. Americans do have to show BC and/or passport to get a CA drivers license. Only Mexicans can show up with the Consular card, something akin to a Happy Meal toy and as difficult to get.

For starters, WTH is he doing ON that punk’s TV show?

THAT was a spectacularly stupid, and damaging thing to so. We’ll be hearing that from every Democrat for the next month... or, however long it takes to get the Republicans to cave. Might not take an entire month.
